What is Web hosting? Why We Need Web Hosting.


In computer the files and folders are stored on your computer or laptops hard drive, and you use or access them whenever you want.
A web page is a file, just like a normal file like notepad file .As you know your notepad files need space in laptops or computer memory to store, this all web pages need a computer to store them.

Now, the difference is, web pages are generally made to seen by public. The computer on which they must be stored, must be of higher specification than your laptops or computer and must be connect to Internet all time through a strong link. The computer on which these web pages are stored is called a Web Server.
Collection of these web pages is known as web site, and collectively all the web pages in the world form the World Wide Web (WWW).
The task to store these web sites and available to many users is called web hosting .Web hosting sites provide you space on internet to store these web pages.
You can also make your own server, but the main difference between investing in your own server and using a hosting company is that designing your own server is more expensive than using web hosting service. When you apply or use service provide by web hosting site than they will manage all back-end processes including maintenance of servers. Now the main point is, web hosts are designed to make your life easier by saving you time and money.
